National parks, also known as natural reservations, are huge extensions of land owned by the government and dedicated to the preservation of wildlife and people's enjoyment. This slideshow-style screensaver features a collection of photographs of some of the most beautiful landscapes of American national parks. We can see nice images of forests, mountains, lakes and the world-famous geysers, which are natural thermal water springs.
You can customize many of the screensaver's features through its control panel, which allows you to set the time you want each image to remain on the screen, as well as the duration of transition effects (which, by the way, are quite good-looking). Also, you can increase or decrease the brightness. A digital clock appears when the screensaver is active, changing regularly its location from one corner of the screen to another. You can change the clock's format from 12- to 24-hour, or hide it altogether. Also, you can set the program to show the frames per second together with, or instead of, the digital clock. A huge advantage of this program is that you don't need to install anything else besides the actual screensaver, so if you like good landscape photos, give this program a try.
